When activated you will see actual color next to your mouse cursor. When you make mouse click or hit ‘p’ key, color is picked and you can click on Eye Dropper extension icon again to see results.

Just nice Color picker which allows you to pick color from pallete, by HSV value, RGB value, hex code and small set of predefined colors.
Color picker can be completely disabled in options if you use only Pick from webpage future.
